about carole
Being creative has always been a way of life for me. Early on I created unique fabric tapestries and then explored the wonderful world of ceramics.
My desire to explore new creative opportunities led me to the exciting world of watercolours. Using strong colours allows me to bring out the individuality of each piece.
Initially my inspiration came from experiences I had as a child. I was inquisitive and when I would see a beautiful home, an old inn, an old tumble down shed in the woods or an old tug boat just waiting to go out to sea – I would wonder what memories or secrets are hidden inside. I now find myself exploring new subjects to paint, which are presenting their own unique challenges.
Hopefully some of my paintings will capture a few of your fondest memories.
If you have a special memory you would like captured please contact me – I would be happy to hear from you.
Carole is an active member of the North Shore Artists Guild.
